The Zone Agtech is a place of innovation, strategic networking, knowledge and business acceleration dedicated to agtech companies and plant bioproducts. Since its creation in 2020, its team has supported hundreds of innovative projects, many of which have come to fruition thanks to the support of the Zone Agtech team in all their targeted strategic development needs.
This is the case forAlliance Solutions, which has just finalized a round of financing with the help ofOlivier Demers-Dubé, Director of Projects and Innovation Programs at Zone Agtech, and Denis Guillemette, Business Financing Advisor at CieNOV. The funding will be used to boost their service offering and better meet the needs of their customers.

This financing will enable us to be even better in our services dedicated to the automation, optimization and maintenance of resources."
Alliance Solutions is an MRC de L'Assomption company specializing in the optimization process and the implementation of solutions tailored to the budget, culture and vision of the company requiring its services. Its aim is to support, in particular, businesses and the agtech ecosystem that is emerging in the MRC de L'Assomption.
Moreover, in 2021, its founders, David Poisson and Yanick St-Yves, received personalized services from CieNOV and the Agtech Zone, in addition to participating in the first cohort of the Cycle Momentum Acceleration Program: Agtech, powered by the Agtech Zone.
These two engineers evaluate the activities and processes of our partner companies in order to propose actions that optimize performance, while keeping costs to a minimum, in an eco-responsible spirit.
We had an entrepreneurial idea, and the Zone Agtech team helped us bring it to fruition," says Mr. St-Yves. We're now a well-established project, in symbiosis with the region's agricultural reality. In addition to guiding us through the rapid maturation of our project, the support offered by Zone Agtech helped us focus on our objectives and find the right financing to achieve them."
It should be noted that several financial tools were used for the financial package: the FLI/FLS fund(Fonds Local d'Investissement & Fonds Local de Solidarité FTQ), as well as funds from the PAUPME(Programme d'Aide d'Urgence aux PME).
The Fonds Local d'Investissement (FLI) and the Fonds Local de Solidarité (FLS) are financial tools designed to support business projects in the L'Assomption MRC. The mission of these two local funds is to provide financial and technical assistance to new and existing businesses in order to create and maintain jobs on the MRC territory. One of the objectives of these "Local Funds" is to encourage the start-up and growth of entrepreneurship in the MRC de L'Assomption.
Alliance Solutions also received financial assistance from the Fonds Propulsion, a non-refundable financial contribution for companies in the L'Assomption MRC that are in the process of starting up or have been in operation for less than 24 months. The Fonds Propulsion was launched in 2021 by CieNOV and is aimed at companies operating in the technology, manufacturing, business services, food processing and tourism sectors.
