Agriculture is at a turning point. Faced with the growing challenges of food sovereignty, climate change and ecological transition, the development, financing and transfer of innovative solutions are becoming essential to ensure production that is both sustainable and efficient. Agricultural technologies and plant bioproducts, which incorporate major advances in controlled environments, robotization, precision farming, soil management and input optimization, are now making it possible to increase productivity, reduce the environmental footprint and better adapt to ever-changing climatic challenges.
Also celebrating 5 years of the Zone Agtech, this 5th edition of the Grand Colloque Agtech du Québec is catalyzed by a series of strategic partners, including CCTT Network - Synchronexa key player involved in the development of the Agtech Zone for several years.

The development of agricultural technologies and plant bioproducts is a long-term challenge requiring a strategic vision, appropriate financial resources and a progressive approach to the market. Between extended innovation cycles, validation in real-life conditions and adoption by producers, companies in the sector must navigate between investment, commercialization and competitive differentiation. This conference will address (1) Positioning and competitiveness: building a solid business model, differentiation and integration into existing value chains, (2) Financing and fundraising: access to capital, government support and financing strategies adapted to long cycles, and (3) Validation and marketing: on-farm testing, technology adoption and the transition from R&D to commercialization.
