L’Assomption, February 4, 2026 – Zone Agtech announces the departure of Louis-Simon Barrette, Director of Innovation Projects, who has chosen to pursue his entrepreneurial career by founding Ferme Ô Menu, a company specializing in year-round agricultural production, located in the heart of the Agtech Zone.
During his time at Zone Agtech, Louis-Simon Barrette distinguished himself through his strong leadership, rigorous approach, and remarkable ability to advance concrete innovation projects in close collaboration with ecosystem partners. His commitment, practical vision, and entrepreneurial spirit actively contributed to the development of structuring projects for the Zone.
The creation of Ferme Ô Menu is a natural continuation of this journey. The leadership demonstrated by Louis-Simon in his role at Zone Agtech is now being transferred to his company, which fully embodies the Zone's mission: to support the emergence of innovative solutions, rooted in the region, that address the challenges of food self-sufficiency and sustainable production.
