Zone Agtech is looking for a Marketing Analyst-Researcher to support its team in the realization of innovation projects and business propulsion in innovative agricultural technologies (agtech) and plant bioproducts.

As a Marketing Research Analyst, you will collaborate in the realization and deployment of multiple mandates aimed at accelerating the transition of the agricultural and agri-food sector towards more sustainable models and practices, particularly in the sectors of controlled environment agriculture (greenhouse and vertical), robotization/automation, precision agriculture and circular economy.

Under the supervision of the Project Director of Corporate Innovation and the Senior Advisor in Business Acceleration, you will participate in the realization of client mandates entrusted to us in product development strategy, market studies, technology monitoring, pre-feasibility studies and financing of innovation projects.

Specifically, on a daily basis, you will be required to:

  • Conduct market, competitive and industry analysis;
  • Identify and analyze technologies available on the local and international market;
  • Write questionnaires, conduct interviews, compile and analyze data collected;
  • Write service offers, diagnoses, studies and recommendation reports;
  • Prepare meetings with our clients, their suppliers and partners, and coordinate certain stages of the mandates;
  • Ensure compliance with the schedule and budgets allocated;
  • Ensure the quality and standards of deliverables;
  • Identify and analyze the different financial aid available to support the realization of client projects;
  • Update various directories, including the directory of financial assistance dedicated to the agtech and plant bioproducts sector and the directory of innovative agricultural technologies in Quebec;
  • Participate in any other task relevant to the realization of the mandates.

For this position, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or management profile;
  • 1 to 3 years experience in marketing analysis and research (including coordination tasks);
  • Experience in conducting market and pre-feasibility studies, creating budgets and
  • profitability calculations;
  • Focus on mandate objectives and client experience;
  • Proven project coordination and analytical skills;
  • Strong writing and synthesis skills;
  • Strong ability to format Word and Powerpoint documents in a structured and dynamic style;
  • Mastery of Excel;
  • Dynamism, autonomy, organizational skills and initiative;
  • Perfect command of written and spoken French;
  • Fluency in English for international interviews and analysis of external reports;
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.


  • Start date: As soon as possible;
  • Regular work schedule: 34.5 hours per week;
  • Business Location: Hybrid. 2 days per week at the L’Assomption office; Travel to clients in Quebec is to be expected.
  • Salary conditions: $52,000 to $67,500 per year (depending on experience) + group insurance after 6 months and contribution to RVER after 1 year
